Wedding in Pittsburgh

This past weekend Andrew and I drove to Pittsburgh to attend my friend Derrick's wedding. It was such a fun wedding. It was a Buddhist wedding overlooking the Allegheny mountains. Beautiful. We even had fake mustaches in our favor bag. Uhm, awesome.

GLBC

Andy and I were able to go behind the scenes of the Great Lakes Brewery on Friday. Our friend Josh, works as a brewer and was willing to show us what he does everyday. We, along with a bunch of friends, sampled a lot of beer. At the end of the tour I definitely had a little buzz going on. We also were able to try the unfermented beer straight out of one of the huge tanks through a spigot. ( I did not know how to spell that word until I looked it up right now )

My favorite beer tasted that night isn't even out yet! And honestly, the name has slipped my mind. Great Lakes does do organized tours with a real tour guide...if you're interested.

4-Lens 35mm Film Camera

A couple years ago, I purchased a camera at Big Fun on Coventry. This film camera has 4-lenses and takes the four shots in under 3 seconds. The coolest part is the four shots are on the same print! These pictures were taken in Athens, Ohio summer of '07.

Short Weekend

The weekend went by so quickly. I was able to capture a few shots. The lamp that my sisters purchased for me for my birthday gives off such great light. Very dramatic light. It has been such an asset for the photos taken in the living room of my apartment. This one stood out to me... Gandalf's stance is so majestic, or something.

A fresh start, fer shore

So, I have decided to seriously, like really, like I'm trying, to get this blog updated more often. I think twice a week is a good amount. So, yes. Twice a week it is.

Andy and I helped my friend, Kerry, with a marketing project. She had to come up with her own company and market it like it was store selling real products. She asked if I would mind helping her with the company logo and I said of course not. Her made up company is called "Curvaceous Creations". The store would sell custom fit clothing...so you could wear shirts without "muffin topping out of them" as Kerry would say. Here's the logo -

I also wanted to share some pictures. Two Saturday's ago, we went to Pittsburgh. We ate at Joe's Crab Shack and had my first crab ever! I snapped a few shots.
